Company Overview
The Seonarang Welfare Foundation Pohang Bio Park, a welfare corporation, is a workplace designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for the employment of individuals with severe disabilities. It is both a production facility and a sales facility for products made by individuals with severe disabilities, established by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Pohang City.
As the first vocational rehabilitation facility for people with disabilities to receive GMP certification, it further enhanced its value as a food enterprise by obtaining HACCP certification in 2011.
With a vision of facilitating market entry for products made by individuals with disabilities, activating production by people with severe disabilities, and overcoming employment barriers for people with disabilities, employees with disabilities work alongside their instructors. As of April 2025, a total of 87 employees, including 65 employees with disabilities and 22 instructors and office staff, work together at the foundation.
