It is a great honor to host the Bio-Healthcare Industry Special Pavilion in conjunction with the Home Care, Rehabilitation, and Welfare Exhibition.

This Special Pavilion has been organized to create opportunities for development through mutual information exchange and technological collaboration among the bio product groups of regional bio-cluster companies. It also aims to showcase the excellent products and technologies of
bio-specialized centers and bio companies in each region, while promoting the achievements of bio clusters. Ultimately, this pavilion seeks to contribute to improving public health and enhancing the quality of life by expanding and revitalizing the bio-healthcare market.

The bio industry is a key growth engine of the 21st century and a vital sector that the nation is actively fostering as a core industry for the future. Comparable to the semiconductor and automotive industries as a blockbuster sector, the bio industry is advancing into a personalized healthcare field driven by individual genetic information, aligning with the trends of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Furthermore, it is regarded as a field with immense potential for integration with cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, which have recently emerged as pivotal topics of global innovation.

Through this exhibition, I hope we can assess the growth and future of Korea's bio-healthcare industry so far and
